I cam into work today and read the paper online, im so so so sick of seeing the same stories regarding kids getting bullied and then either killing themseleves of dying. How in a world of 'ipads' are we still allowing this to happen to our kids?
It is totally unacceptable for our schools to be allowing this to go un-noticed. It really pisses me off when schools say that they have had their budgets cut and so they are unable to provide the kids with the support or help they need. BULLSHIT. What we have to remember is that teachers are no longer these caring influences in our lives, they are there to earn their salary and try to make it through the day with hangovers, just like the rest of us. There has to be a teacher on duty during breaks, but still these kids are being left unoticed for all sorts of bullying to happen and no -one is noticing-how?
Not only is this a problem at school but at home, kids have facebook and the like and are getting bullied through these social networking sites! What parent wouldnt know the password to thier childs account or check their history-its not being strict its being a good parent.
Read this story and think what justice is there for such an innocence to be so unhappy...
